Over 4000 school children from all over Northern Ireland submitted entries to the competition during the Spring of 2000.

The winners were awarded prizes at a special ceremony held at Parliament Buildings, Stormont, Belfast on June 22, 2000.

Prizes were awarded by Mrs Brid Rodgers MLA, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
